The Deans Office Student Consultants (DOSCs) is a group that's been around in various iterations for about 23 years.  They are a group of students in their senior year who provide academic peer advising through the Undergraduate Deans Office.  If you've attended a "Last Lecture Series", or a class year event sposored by senior Dartmouth College students, then you've probably been to or attended a DOSC sponsored event.

If you are looking for ways to have meaningful interactions with your peers and beleive in informative academic peer advising that is easily accessible to students, becoming a DOSC might be for you.  If you desire to help people better understand and use the advising network at Dartmouth, this may be an excellent opportunity for you.  DOSCs provide mentorship and preliminary advising information and then refer students to the most appropriate campus resources for more indepth advice.  DOSC are students helping students.

If you're starting your senior year this fall, consider giving back and applying to become a DOSC for the 2017-2018 calendar year.
