COVID-19: Campus Update

Dear Undergraduate Students,

As you've just seen from the Provost's message, the College is moving to enable some of our employees to work from home starting on Monday. I want to assure you that Student Affairs and Health Service staff will be here on campus for you, and that dining, custodial, and other basic services will continue. The care team will be working throughout the weekend, and the dean and counselor on call will be available as always - by calling Security at 646-4000. We will be here with you. And we continue to do what we can to insure you have what you need during this period of ambiguity.

We know you still have many questions. We are all still working very hard to answer them as quickly as reasonably possible. I will be in touch again as soon as we have new information to share. In the meantime, I hope you are able use the time over the coming weeks to rest and restore. If you still have papers to complete, do that. But remember to also take the time to make up for lost sleep, reach out to a friend, do whatever it is that makes you laugh, and - weather permitting - take a stroll outside.

I cannot imagine how stressful these last weeks have been for you and those who care about you. No matter where you are, or what you're doing, may you be rested, well, and happy.

Best wishes,

Dean Lively
