Noise which interferes with classes, College offices, and other campus and community activities is prohibited. In particular, students should note that Dartmouth Residential Life prohibits placing speakers in the windows of residential facilities, including spaces associated with student organizations, such as LLCs, Affinity Spaces, Fraternities, Sororities, and Societies, with the sound directed outside, or operating any other device which unduly disturbs the peace of the residential community.
The first violation of this rule will result in a warning; the second violation will result in an automatic fine of $20. Continued violation of this rule may subject an individual or recognized organization to further disciplinary action.
