March 20, 2020 Update

Daily Update from Dean Lively

Dear Undergraduate Students and Families:

We have a few updates for you this afternoon. There will be a community message coming in the next few days that will address some of the questions you've raised about grading, graduation requirements and other spring term academic planning.

In the meantime, we are able to share this information from Campus Billing and Financial Aid, including that the payment due date has been extended to March 30, 2020.

BILLING UPDATE

As we continue to process the changes requested for Spring term, we would like to provide information on the status of billing updates.

* The billing payment due date has been extended to March 30, 2020. The billing team will be updating Spring 2020 student account activity by Wednesday March 25 for applicable tuition and fees, room and board, and financial aid for program and housing plan changes that have been submitted and processed by that date.

* Updated student account activity is available through DPay https://www.dartmouth.edu/finance/tuition/billing_paying_tuition/dpay.php

* For instruction on how to view student activity: https://www.dartmouth.edu/finance/documents/tuition_payments_tab_documents/viewing_account_activity.pdf

* A Spring 2020 Follow Up bill will be processed on Monday, April 6 to capture additional changes requested and will be available via DPay.

* Financial aid funds will not be disbursed and available to students until the day after the student checks in.

Students may check in starting Sunday March 29.

* Students that are due refunds should follow the instructions for refunds at https://www.dartmouth.edu/finance/tuition/billing_paying_tuition/student_accounts_refunds.php

If you have any questions, the Campus Billing team will be available on Monday at campus.billing@dartmouth.edu.

D-PLAN REMINDER

If you want to request any change in your D-plan for spring and haven't already done so, please send your request to the Registrar at registrar@dartmouth.edu, as soon as possible, with a short explanation for the request. The Registrar's Office will review and respond sometime next week.

I'll be back to you again as soon as we have more to share. In the meantime, please try to have a relaxing weekend, and do what you can to stay healthy. We know that this is an incredibly trying time, and we are continuing to work around the clock to get you the answers you need.

Best,

Dean Lively
